Introduction
Amarachi Guesthouse is a family-run bed and breakfast in the Hage Heights area of northern Swakopmund, Namibia. Your hosts are Stephan Fassbender and Insa Roos. We speak German and English.
Location
84 Turmalin Street, Hage Heights, Swakopmund. Beach approx. 500 m, Shopping Center Platz am Meer [approx. 500 m], Town center [approx. 4–5 km], Walvis Bay Airport [approx. 40 km], Dunes [approx. 5 km].
Rooms
7 rooms: 5 double rooms (also for single occupancy), 1 family room (Room 5: queen-size bed and bunk bed, kitchen, for 2 adults and 2 children) and 1 apartment (Room 8: bedroom, living room, kitchen, private courtyard with braai). Rooms 7 and 8 have a connecting door – ideal for families with up to three children.
Room amenities
Private modern bathroom, flat-screen TV with streaming services (including German channels), refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities, ceiling fan, daily cleaning.
Rates 2026
Double room: N$950 per person (N$1,900 per room) per night including breakfast. Single occupancy: N$1,400 including breakfast. Family room: additional child up to 12 years N$475, from 13 years or adult N$950. Apartment: additional person N$600.

Breakfast
Included in the B&B rates. Breakfast times Mon–Fri 7:00–9:00, Sat/Sun 7:30–9:30. Rooms 5 and 8 are also available for self-catering (cleaning deposit N$500, refundable upon departure).
Arrival and departure
Check-in is from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Late arrivals from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM are only possible by prior arrangement; check-in is not possible after 8:00 PM. Check-out is by 10:00 AM. A reachable phone number is required when booking.
Safety and Parking
Night watch (HAWK Security) daily from 7 pm to 7 am. Secure parking on the property.
